Terms of Use
Effective 22 September 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Romo, an app made by VisionLab Studio, based in Türkiye ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Romo you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Your licence to use Romo is granted under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict on the licence to use the app, the Standard EULA prevails.
1. Who can use Romo
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU and UK) to use Romo, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live to buy a subscription. If you are under that age, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.
2. Health and safety
Romo gives general fitness and nutrition guidance. It is not medical advice, and it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
- Talk to a doctor before you start a new exercise or diet program, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or injury, take medication, or have not exercised in a while.
- Exercise carries a risk of injury. Warm up, use weights you can control, follow the form cues and stop at once if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
- Calorie, macro and portion estimates, posture scores, plan targets and step, sleep and energy figures are approximate. Do not use them for medical decisions.
- You are responsible for training within your own limits. To the extent the law allows, you use Romo's workouts and suggestions at your own risk.
3. Your account
You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Apple Account secure. You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Account › Delete Account.
4. Subscriptions
Romo is free to download. Some features may require a paid subscription in the future. If we offer one:
- Plans and prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. A free trial is available once per Apple Account.
- Billing and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or when the trial ends. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions). You keep the paid features until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com). Nothing in these Terms limits refund rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
5. Your content
You own what you create in Romo — your workouts, meals, photos, messages and the rest of your log. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide Romo to you, including backing it up and sending it to our service providers as described in the Privacy Policy. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
6. Friends and acceptable use
Choose a username and profile photo that are not offensive, misleading or someone else's. Do not misuse Romo. In particular, do not: break the law with it; harass other people; try to access other people's data or our systems without permission; reverse engineer or disrupt the app or its servers, except where the law allows; use the AI coach to create unlawful, harmful or infringing content; or resell or redistribute the app. We may remove a username or photo, or suspend an account, that breaks these rules. Report abuse to us at [email protected].
7. Romo and other AI features
The coach, the meal scan and the posture check use artificial intelligence. Their answers and estimates can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. They are for information and motivation only and are not professional medical, dietary or physiotherapy advice.
8. Third-party services
Romo relies on services from Apple and Google, including Sign in with Apple, Apple Health, the App Store and Firebase. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for services we do not control.
9. Our intellectual property
Romo, its design, artwork, exercise demonstrations, text and software belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not give you any right to use our name or branding.
10. Changes and availability
We may update, change or discontinue features of Romo. We will try to give notice of significant changes that affect a paid subscription. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms.
11. Disclaimers
Romo is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that Romo will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any plan will produce a particular result.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of Romo. Our total liability for any claim relating to Romo is limited to the amount you paid for Romo in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13. Apple
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Romo or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If Romo fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Romo. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to Romo, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims, and for investigating and resolving any claim that Romo infringes a third party's intellectual property rights. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Romo after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
