iTravel

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of iTravel, an app made by Ali Bozoğlan, an independent developer based in Türkiye ("we", "us"). By downloading or using iTravel you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Your licence to use iTravel is granted under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict on the licence to use the app, the Standard EULA prevails.

1. Who can use iTravel

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU and UK) to use iTravel, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live to buy a subscription. If you are under that age, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.

2. Your account

You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Apple Account secure. You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Account › Delete Account.

3. iTravel Premium

Some features — including journey replays, writing in the travel journal, Stampy AI, visa day limits and sharing — require an iTravel Premium subscription.

  • Plans. Premium is offered as weekly, monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, and occasionally as a discounted yearly offer. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
  • Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. A free trial is available once per Apple Account.
  • Billing and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or when the trial ends. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Cancelling. Manage or cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com). Nothing in these Terms limits refund rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
  • Price changes. If a subscription price changes, Apple will notify you and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies.

4. Your content

You own what you create in iTravel — your journal, notes, photos you add and the rest of your travel history. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide iTravel to you, including backing it up and syncing it to your devices and sending it to our service providers as described in the Privacy Policy. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse iTravel. In particular, do not: break the law with it; try to access other people's data or our systems without permission; reverse engineer or disrupt the app or its servers, except where the law allows; use Stampy to create unlawful, harmful or infringing content; or resell or redistribute the app.

6. Stampy and other AI features

Stampy and the trip verification features use artificial intelligence. Their answers can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. They are for information and inspiration only and are not professional, legal, medical, financial or safety advice. Check important information — opening hours, prices, safety and entry requirements — with official sources before you rely on it.

7. Location, travel records and visa day counts

iTravel detects places from your device's location, which can be delayed, imprecise or unavailable. Your travel history, stamps and statistics may therefore be incomplete or inaccurate. Visa and stay day counts, including the Schengen 90/180 calculation, are estimates to help you plan. They are not legal or immigration advice and are not an official record. Immigration authorities decide how long you may stay; always check the official rules for your passport and destination.

8. Third-party services

iTravel relies on services from Apple and Google, including Sign in with Apple, the App Store, MapKit, WeatherKit and Firebase. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for services we do not control.

9. Our intellectual property

iTravel, its design, artwork, text and software belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not give you any right to use our name or branding.

10. Changes and availability

We may update, change or discontinue features of iTravel. We will try to give notice of significant changes that affect Premium. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

iTravel is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that iTravel will be uninterrupted, error-free or that every trip will be detected.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of iTravel. Our total liability for any claim relating to iTravel is limited to the amount you paid for iTravel in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for iTravel or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If iTravel fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for iTravel. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to iTravel, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims, and for investigating and resolving any claim that iTravel infringes a third party's intellectual property rights. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using iTravel after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
